A Performance: Eating Sculpture Fragment

Contemporary sculptors will play chess in this Dada event and they are literally going to eat the chess set. Actually in chess ‘eating ’occurs when one of the parties capture the competitor’s piece.
The contemporary artist Genco Gülan, who will compete against his colleague Tuğberk Selçuk, considers turning his ideas into objects and in this case, names the performance, “Eating Sculpture” instead of ‘Eating Chess Pieces’. In their first performance in 2016, the duo had reshaped chess pieces and rules while playing chess.
